Once you start walking, the number of steps always keep increasing. Even if you take some steps back, they are added to the total number of steps that you have walked. These steps are the efforts.
Sometimes, stepping into the unknown can be very scary yet extremely beautiful as it opens a new door offering growth, opportunities, lessons and happiness.
Sometimes, we think that we have done our best
and we give up and put our efforts to rest
but it may not be the case.
There may be something left to add in our race.
Overestimation is the cause of suicides but at times, also of success. Contemplation is a good habit that saves us from many troubles but overthinking ruins it all. It harms our self-image and self-confidence. It prevents us from working hard to achieve our goals by making us afraid or lazy.
I met a man who was in dire need of love.
He appeared to be harmful.
Everyone told me he has ill intentions.
Since he seemed untrustworthy and disloyal,
they warned me and asked me to be careful.
You will gain nothing by sitting idle. Bit- by- bit, you need to work for it. If you notice carefully how you achieved what you did, you will notice that making efforts towards achieving your aim became an unconscious habit and hence, success welcomed you, applauding for you at its door before you could hear its footsteps.
Climb up the stairs.
Put the second foot behind the first.
You will grow when you will dare
to walk and cross over each hurst.
I am trapped. I don’t know if they are my thoughts or the weather that suffocates me, but my throat feels choked off air. Maybe it’s the pressure I feel when I think of my career prospects from the perspective of my family— the economic point of view.
My father and brother never appreciate most of the work I do. My brother associates development with economy and father always wishes for the impossible. When it is about studies, he wishes I should score excellent marks in all the subjects. Being an above average student in academics, it’s not practically possible for my distracted mind and weak memory to concentrate equally and give the best results in everything I put my head into. I don’t possess academic but verbal or linguistic and musical or rhythmic intelligence among the ten types of intelligences explained by Howard Gardener.
You write it all down
on the paper that you pulled out
then think of the methods by which
successfully you’ll carry it out
