I am grateful for my eyes
For they became the device
Through which I saw your face clearly
In my early days of puberty.
I am grateful for my vision,
My sense of observation
Who noticed the details of your existence,
Liking the proximity of your physical presence.
I am grateful for my heart
Which throbbed except for pumping blood,
Letting me know that it is peace,
Excitement and shyness that I feel.
I have never been truly happy with my painful survival
But if our paths are going to join together,
If our meetings, our proximities, may they be however
Are moving towards a happy, successful and healthy revival,
If together, we will make a united, warm start,
I will believe that life is beyond survival sustained by art,
Beyond creating magic, performing and gaining applause.
I will forget the unnecessary troubles that the universe caused.
