A Child’s Game

Another night of thunder

with heavy and mild rain

and the sound of the leaves that stutter

tell the tale of an overbearing pain.

Oh, what a sight is it to gaze at

when the water pours on the terrain

and the wind blows at its pace

while I can hear the fast-moving train.

The thundering black clouds

and the spark in between them

within regular intervals

light up the whole of my place.

As the power turns off in the buildings

that stand erect before me,

they appear to me as blocks again

like it is what a child believes to be his game.

Now, the rain has turned heavy.

It is like the waves of the sea.

but again, I can hear the sound of the trees.

The nature is the child playing with ease.
