Expectations are a burden. Expectations about oneself are often causes to clinically diagnosed anxiety and other mental health disorders.
Expecting from others passes on your burden from one person to another. You don’t like feeling burdened, do you? Why to pass on exhausting energy to others then?
Why do we load ourselves with negativity? I am learning to shrug negativity off as soon as it tries to lean on my shoulders. I am trying to not allow negative energy to be loaded on my positive energy. I am trying not to load myself and others from any sort of expectations because I have learnt that we actually become truly happy when we release them.
