I learn a lot about successfully sustaining 

a relationship from my mother.

She teaches me how, even in

adverse situations, you stay together.

 

As everything that eventually

turns out to be good and at its best

a good relationship too requires a lot of patience,

tolerance and togetherness in the times of test.

 

When one turns from I to we,

there’s still space for self-respect but no haught.

Understanding and empathy, in a relationship, 

from each partner towards another is sought.

 

Because eventually, at the end

you both make a team

you pull each other on the same page

and fulfil the lack, each other’s emotions both deem.
