Time

Time is sand.

It flows from our hand

As tight we may keep our grip

A pinhole and all of it would slip.

Time is mountain.

It stands where it stood.

It stands unmoved

as a heavy log of wood.

Time is today

But also tomorrow

It carries lessons of yesterday

To reduce our grief and sorrow.

Time is impatience

But also tranquility

Time makes possible

every impossibility.

Time is a healer

yet also a wound.

A moment, it seems lively

While another, it’s moribund.

Good or bad,

Merry or sad,

Time flies away

For none does it stay.

So, live today

While there’s still time

Progress yourself to excellency

To become supreme and sublime.
