Patience

Patience, beloved

We’ll surely meet;

The fruit that patience bears

Is always lovely and sweet.

If it’s meant to happen,

It will eventually.

Some tenderness towards its delicacy

and patience is all a relation needs.

For, it’s my time of healing,

I am joining my pieces together

and if my love is directed towards you,

It will remain not for once, but forever.

I never wish even to err;

Lest my broken pieces should eternally scar

your soul—maliceless, innocent and pure, therefore,

we will be together only when both of us are sure.

So, have a little patience,

and more than it have faith,

‘Cause this time you have encountered

a keeper beloved.
